Glimpses of a relief camp

By Tuesday, December 28th, a relief camp had been established and was running in Majeediyya School in Male'. The people from Dhiffushi island were accommodated there. There were women, children and elderly people who were living in the camp because their island was devastated by the tsunami. Majeediyaa School is the oldest boys school in the country. On a signboard fixed on an upper floor the motto of the school was printed: Nihil Labore Difficile (Nothing is Difficult with Hard Work). Behind the signboard two boys from Dhiffushi were looking down to the ground below. One of them was peering through a set of binoculars. They were observing the life in the camp. It will be very difficult for these people to return back to their normal lives, even with a lot of hard work. written by: niOS, Photos: Thoha Posted by Hello
